About CEKAB
CEKAB is a secure partner within electronic card transactions and payments. CEKAB’s core services cover both authorisation and transaction handling for card acquirers and issuers in Sweden and the Nordic region.
Other services CEKAB offers includes systems for safe Internet trade, blocking of cards, blocking control for authorisations, file deliveries, card directories with additional safety checks and direct connections for retailer terminals and ATMs.
CEKAB was founded in 1989 and has about 60 skilled employees. Just over 1,3 billion transactions were handled through CEKAB’s systems during the year 2007. CEKAB is a wholly-owned subsidiary to EDB Business Partner AB.
