Business areas
CEKAB’s business is to process electronic card transactions. Regardless whether the transactions are generated in ATMs or POS terminals, the same basic functionality applies with respect to computers and systems. We divide in our services in three product areas:
ATM Acquiring
The ATM operation deals with the processing of cash dispenser transactions, including customer service towards bank branches, as well as clearing and reconciliation of transactions.
POS Acquiring
Collection and authorisation of purchase transactions from vendor environments as well as a customer service function towards banks and merchants. Our POS acquiring services also include 3-D Secure, hot card files and terminal management.
Card Issuing
Our card register CAF carries out authorisations and enables card issuers to make parameter changes at both prefix and card level. CEKAB is an authorized blocking central and provides a web based card blocking system. We also offer services that helps card issuers detect and prevent fraud.
