CAF
CAF (Card Authorisation File) is CEKAB's card register. When receiving authorisation requests via CAF, CEKAB carries out all card-related authorisation and security checks. This eases the load on your own data systems in conjunction with authorisation requests.
As card issuer, you can either check balances/available credit, or send a daily file to CEKAB with current balance and card status information.
The following authorisation checks can be performed:
- PIN
- CVC/CVV
- Activity limits
- Card status
- EMV Cryptogram
If you are also using Hera Card Blocking System, CAF will be updated online with blocking information.
