AlertMe
As card frauds increase we see an even greater demand for really smart security services. AlertMe increases the safety for the card holder, and reduces the issuer’s fraud related costs.
AlertMe sends notifications via text message or e-mail, directly when the card is used. This way fraud will be detected at an earlier stage, and the card can be blocked to prevent further misuse.
The service can be integrated in the card issuer’s Internet bank or other web-based solution, so that the card holder can log on and create their own settings for how and when they want to be notified. One can for example choose to be notified at:
- all purchases and withdrawals
- foreign transactions
- transactions that exceeds a certain amount
- transactions at certain MCCs (Merchant Category Codes)
When a transaction fulfils the requirements set by the card holder, a text message or an e-mail, containing information about the transaction, will be sent to the card holder.
