Hera
Hera is a web-based blocking system which handles information about blocked cards within Sweden. The system also receives information about card blockings from other blocking centres in Sweden and from Visa International and MasterCard International.
Card issuing banks can use Hera in order to register and to update card blockings, and to distribute blockings to Visa and MasterCard. If you are also using CAF Card Authorisation File, it will be updated online from Hera with blocking information.
Acquiring banks can use Hera to obtain blocking information on cards that are blocked by Swedish banks and on international cards that are reported blocked to Visa or MasterCard. Hera can also deliver daily blocking files to the bank’s connected merchants.
